wharf 4 ward

The Sony Foundation bought out all the stars for another sucsessful Wharf 4 Ward event in Sydney. This was my third year attending this magnifisant charity lunch extravaganza which raises money to build specialised wards for young people with cancer.  Donations of cash and old mobile phones were also welcome to support the 'You Can' campaign. Raffle tickets and the prize silent bidding bought an impresssive amount of money however   the big corporations that stole the show donating large amounts to help this great cause.

The entire resturant strip of Woolloomooloo Wharf was taken over by major corporate comany and celebrites along with special preformances by Timomatic, Jess Mauboy and the finalists of X factor.

A huge thank you to the Sony Foundation for yet another amazing event bring people together to help raise money for such a heart felt and incredible cause.

Paradis Noir

A photo with the amazing designers behind M&E Maya, Kelly and of course the stunning Zoe Balbi.

This morning I popped into Luxe Studios in Darlinghurst to the preview Maurie & Eve's autumn 2013 collection called Paradis Noir.

In keeping up with the M&E tradition their collections just get stronger and stronger, with an injection of beautiful prints, colours and materials coming through for autumn. I have to say that this could be my favourite collection yet! The room was filled with racks featuring pieces from Paradis Noir along with 2 live models wearing the collection. A light breakfast with fresh fruits, coconut waters, croissants and mini muesli were served and the room was filled with bloggers, fashionistas and celebrities alike.

Such a great morning and beautiful way to show a new collection. Thanks for having me Maya, Kelly and the amazing team at Golightly PR.

Maxi to the Max

Enter the perfect maxi dress! My closet is packed with maxi dresses, I just find them so comfortable and the perfect throw on dress for summer. Everyone goes through wardrobe meltdown moments when we all of a sudden have nothing to wear and no clothes even though you're staring at a wardrobe full!! This is when I normally just pull out a maxi, belt it or add accessories and head out the door.

This Maxi is from Binny and is the perfect holiday maxi! Great length, beautiful flowing style and drawstring waist allowing you to choice it's fit. The pattern in this dress is so pretty and with its black and white palette it allows you to be playful with your accessories, adding bold bracelets and a pop lip like I've done.

This was taken on my last day of Bali, I'm now home and struggling to get into the swing of it all after the most relaxing 10 days EVER.  Nothing beats sun, friends, cocktails and doing absolutely nothing.

Friday

A slice of Seminyak

We are seeing pattern pants make a huge impact in most spring / summer collections. I've taking a massive liking to this trend and have been wearing bold pants a lot as you may see in previous posts that feature aztec jeans and floral designs. If you havent already I highly recommend going out and getting your hands on some pattern slouch pants like these for summer.

These pants are from suboo and have dome detailing at the cuff, which allows you to wear open like I've done or done up to give a fitted look. The colours in these pants are stunning, making it super easy to style. I decided to go bright and added these pop colour heels and a bold neon red lip to really punch up the plain black tank.

I cant believe how quickly my holiday has gone, I have now been in Bali for a week and my depature date is close approaching, I do love Bali however ready to come home and give my little lady (Tygalilly) a cuddle.

Off to the W hotel for lunch and pool time.

Love from Bali
